Shipping
By law, we cannot ship citrus trees to Arizona, Florida, Texas, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Hawaii.
Please allow up to 7 – 10 business days for your order to be processed and shipped.

Heat Shipping Delays
Alder & Oak takes great care in shipping your living plants. When warm weather temperatures exceed 95 degrees, your order will be held until weather permits for your plant to ship. Heat waves can last anywhere from days to weeks. Our team will be monitoring weather in our area (California) and yours to ensure a healthy and happy arrival of your beautiful plant. You will receive an email notifying you that weather permits for shipping in your area to confirm you are ready to receive your beautiful plant. If you need our nursery to hold onto your plant product for additional time, we are happy to. Returns
We do our best to support our customers with planting guides and access to our grow team for advice. We understand that plant care can be challenging, and our intention is to best assist our customers so they are successful.
We make every effort to deliver healthy plants but assume no responsibility for plant performance to any customer (either direct or indirect ). We encourage our customers to review their growing zone to ensure the plant product they are purchasing will thrive in their home environment. If you are not satisfied with your plants within the first 30 days please contact us via phone, or email and we will review your concerns and provide you with a one-time replacement (excluding shipping cost). Returns of plants are not permitted for the health of our nursery.
If you find you are dissatisfied with your order at time of arrival, please send an email to support@alderandoakplants.com including the following details:
- Order number in Subject Line
- Several pictures of the plant product you request for review.
- Best form of contact you wish for our team to contact for follow up.
In the rare event plants sustain major damage in shipping, please contact us as immediately upon arrival. Email support@alderandoakplants.com with your order number and if possible, photos of the box and tree. We will assess the situation. If it is not salvageable, we will replace it promptly.
